Tonight we headed to the Historic Dixon Theatre in Dixon IL for the Switchback concert featuring the Kosier Studio of Dance Irish Dancers. Marty & Brian put on quite a show.  All ages were there emjoying the show.  My youngest was kicking up her heels in the aisle.

Here are a few pics from this evenings show.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting this Family.

Little Man “C” turns one in March and they wanted to celebrate with a smash cake!

From the moment he walked in my door he was smiling ear to ear.

So very cute and did extremely well for a one year old.

He enjoyed playing with the blocks but like any one year old found my lights way more interesting…………. that is until he saw the balloons and cake.

He was so intently eating his cake he would not even crack a smile until he had his fill.

We even headed outdoors and had a bit of fun in the snow at the park. Weather was perfect!

I had such a hard time choosing just a few sneak peeks to share…… Hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing The C Family. They stopped by for a few family images.

Not that you can tell by looking at the photo but Dad was quite the joke cracker! Is that a word?

I learned a little about PBR and that doesn’t stand for the adult beverage. HA HA.

And young Miss D I am sure you will be seeing more of her in the years to come.

Here is your quick sneak peek……..

Today I had the pleasure of babysitting for Miss Leia who is my great niece. And of course since I had her I took advantage and brought her into the studio for a few pics.

She was so good. Not the typical 15 month old at all. She sat still! Not often does that happen. I didn’t push my luck by switching up backgrounds and props. It was purely for fun!

Here are a handful of the shots I took.

While I am taking pics my 3 year old was sitting at my side with her brand new kid tough camera taking pics as well. It is so cute to watch her taking a pic and yelling “gotcha ya” Of course most of her shot are missing heads……lol

Love her pouty lip in this shot!

And one last one of my princess kissing Leia on the head…… of course she is wearing her wings from her new dress up set! lol

Thought I would share a few pics from this session. We had to do the outdoor portion quickly due to losing the sun.
I think my outdoor sessions will be few and far between until spring unless we get some unseasonably warmer weather.

For the second year in a row I have photographed the final dress rehearsal for the LSSI – Seeing Stars Program.

Heather Krick does an amazing job putting together a fabulous show. The cast has many regulars who come back each year and put in many hours of practice in just a few short months to put on these shows to benefit a wonderful organization. www.lssi.org

I have nearly 700 images from the show and it was so hard narrowing down my choices to share with you. I felt it only fitting that since opening night was on Friday the 13th (which totally had no effect on this great crew) to share 13 images.

Cast members dont forget to email me if you are interested in purchasing the CD of the show images! Contact me for more details lorilee@littlepalsphotography.com
