{day at the park} Sterling IL Photographer

Today we took some family time at the park……… and as always with my camera in tow!

Most of the playground equipment was still wet from the morning dew. Except of course the enclosed tunnel slide.

Our princess was a bit scared to brave the dark tunnel LOL so daddy had to show her it was ok first. He almost didnt make it out of the tunnel……. but I will spare you that pic!

{Foggy Sunset} Sterling IL Photographer

Tonight was a foggy sunset and it was neat to see……… unfortunately I could not grab pics of it until it was almost done.

Here is a quick snap of my little one twirling in the fog. I cant wait for the next time so I can go out and use a bit more cooperative subject.

Today was a big day for one little girl! Miss Leia turned 1 today. I had the pleasure of watching her smash up her cake!
And if the day werent special enough already………. this little one also happens to share her birthday with her Grandma!

{My Princess} Sterling IL Photographer ~ Little Pals Photography

Today my princess and I had some play time in the studio. She loves to try on all the pretty skirts I have for props and actually had a good time! I think this was the first studio session I had with her that didnt end in tears!

Let me tell you as all parents know……….. getting your own child to do anything when you want them to is next to impossible. For some reason other peoples children always listen better.
And as all photographers know……………. your toughest subjects are your own kids!

So today was a joy and I hope next time we can experiment with more backgrounds. Here are just a few from today’s play session.
