{Little Dancer} Little Pals Photography – Sterling IL
March 27, 2010Well it is that time of year again! Dance recitals…….. every young girls dream to be on the stage coming true.
This year happens to be the first time my little one will be following in her older sister’s footsteps and performing on stage.
I am certain there will be tears in my eyes as I see my youngest on stage just as there was for my oldest daughter each and every time she performed. It never gets old. And you never can check those emotions at the door. There is something so special and touching about seeing your children showing off their independence, confidence and lets not forget those adorable little costumes!
Speaking of costumes….. we picked her very first dance recital costume this past week. So of course being a mom with all her own studio equipment I had to take the opportunity to get some pictures for the memory book! Here is some we captured today. Isn’t she the most adorable thing ever? Well yes I am a bit biased because she is mine, but I am ok with that! ![]()

{Little Man “C” ~ First Birthday} Little Pals Photography – Sterling IL Photographer
February 28, 2010Today I had the pleasure of meeting this Family.
Little Man “C” turns one in March and they wanted to celebrate with a smash cake!
From the moment he walked in my door he was smiling ear to ear.
So very cute and did extremely well for a one year old.
He enjoyed playing with the blocks but like any one year old found my lights way more interesting…………. that is until he saw the balloons and cake.
He was so intently eating his cake he would not even crack a smile until he had his fill.
We even headed outdoors and had a bit of fun in the snow at the park. Weather was perfect!
I had such a hard time choosing just a few sneak peeks to share…… Hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

{Miss Leia} Little Pals Photography – Sterling IL Photographer
December 27, 2009Today I had the pleasure of babysitting for Miss Leia who is my great niece. And of course since I had her I took advantage and brought her into the studio for a few pics.
She was so good. Not the typical 15 month old at all. She sat still! Not often does that happen. I didn’t push my luck by switching up backgrounds and props. It was purely for fun!
Here are a handful of the shots I took.
While I am taking pics my 3 year old was sitting at my side with her brand new kid tough camera taking pics as well. It is so cute to watch her taking a pic and yelling “gotcha ya” Of course most of her shot are missing heads……lol
Love her pouty lip in this shot!
And one last one of my princess kissing Leia on the head…… of course she is wearing her wings from her new dress up set! lol

{The “G” Family} Little Pals Photography – Sterling IL Photographer
December 11, 2009Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting the “G” Family. These children are so adorable.
Doesn’t she have the cutest dimples??

I could just pinch this little man’s cheeks! So sweet!

We didn’t capture too many pics of him on the floor because he sure was a fast army crawler!

They make such a beautiful family!

I had a great time capturing memories for you!

December 6, 2009Thought I would share a few pics from this session. We had to do the outdoor portion quickly due to losing the sun.
I think my outdoor sessions will be few and far between until spring unless we get some unseasonably warmer weather.

{Halloween 2009} Little Pals Photography – Sterling IL Photographer
November 1, 2009Yesterday was one crazy day. I think all of Sterling and some of all the other surrounding towns made there way to our neighborhood for trick or treating.
I know last year we counted approx 500 trick or treaters. This year had to be way more. We ran out of candy with more than an hour left of trick or treat time. I think next year I better start buying a bag or 2 of candy each week in September!
My little one had a great time walking to a few of our neighbors houses then we headed back home to relieve big sis from candy duty so she could go to work. Huddled under blankets on our front step we passed out at least 400 pieces of candy before heading indoors for warmth.
Here are a few pics from in the studio prior to trick or treating of my youngest. I know next year I wont get away with picking out her costume for her as she already this year wanted to be something different than she was but wore this costume with the promise that next year she gets to pick! They grow up way to fast.
