{Puppies, Puppies & More Puppies} Sterling IL

Well going off topic here and want to show you all what has kept me so busy lately……. well besides my fall family & high school seniors pics!

We adopted a beautiful Brown/Tan Chihuahua in July.  Only to find out when we brought her home she was in the prime week of her “heat”

when we thought it was the new dog in the house chase instead of the hormone chase…….haha

Needless to say we now have ourselves an adorable litter of Chorkie Puppies.

Mom is the Chihuahua who weighs in at 6 pounds and Dad is a very tiny Yorkie who weighs just under 4 pounds.

Both Parents have papers and if I had planned to continue to breed these adorable mixture

I would take the necessary steps to transfer one of the papers to the others kennel membership.

Which would allow me to register what has been named a  ”Designer Hybrid”  CHORKIE

Unfortunately mommy dog developed a condition after she delivered that meant she had to have surgery.

She is no longer able to have puppies,  which makes us all very sad for her.  She is recovering nicely.

These pups have been home raised with lots of attention from the family and have been handled by my 4 year old  every day since they were about 4 weeks old.

They have had the Dew claws removed, wormed and will be getting their first shots on Monday Nov 8th when the turn 8 weeks old.

So these puppies will be ready for their new homes and families come Tuesday Nov 9th

(except maybe the smallest one in the batch may watch him for a week longer to be sure he is eating properly first)

Here is pics of all the pups……  Let me know if you are interested in seeing these adorable tiny creatures in person!

Taking deposits to hold pup of your choice until they are ready to move into your home!

By the way, the tea cup in the picture is not an actual drinking tea cup……….. its a planter found in the garden center of walmart.

For a size comparison I would say think of them as being smaller than my size 9 shoes.

First up is the smallest puppy in the batch

we nicknamed him “Peanut”

SOLD

Then next up is “Prince”

He is <<SOLD>> and has been renamed by new owner “Duke”

His new mommy can hardly wait to bring him home!

Then we have “Princess”

the only Female in the batch

WE KEPT THIS LITTLE GIRL!

Then we have “Punky”

Male

SOLD

And last up is my biggest pup in the batch

“Paul”  who was named by my Father-in-law Paul

SOLD

He has the most distinct features

and gonna be the rough boy in the bunch.

Of course these puppies dont actually know the names we nicknamed them………

it was more for us to tell them apart when discussing amongst each other.

Each one has their own unique personalities and anyone interested in one

I will assist you in matching you with your perfect puppy to blend in your home.

If  you have room in your home and heart for one of these adorable little things

send me a message or give me a call so we can setup a time for a meeting!

Playing catch up so doing a back to back blog posting spree……………

Here is another family at the park…………  the weather was  a bit chilly this morning.

You might recognize the little man from a previous blog post.  He was my fresh faces contest winner.

And this is part two of his winnings……  the family session.

This is a sneak peek but posting their gallery up shortly…………

Well again another month has flown by……  I have been slacking off when it comes to posting sneak peeks or blog posts.

This is no longer a sneak peek as they have already seen their gallery but this family is too cute not to share a few images with everyone.

They were so fun and relaxed to work with.  And by the time we left they were saying it was the most fun they had getting their pictures taken!

That is what it is all about………. having fun and creating memories.

{Brother & Sister} Little Pals Photography Sterling IL

While out on locations shooting a senior session I captured a few images of this brother & sister together.

So as not to steal the spotlight from the big brother on his senior images post I decided to post these sneak peeks of them together on my family site instead. :)

I love traveling to new locations and family homes to capture images of families.  Atmosphere is much more relaxed and I think we can see more the true personalities.

Call me today to book your family session!

Here is a few sneak peeks of the brother and sister together………….

As you can see here we tried to capture some family farm history with a little fun mixed in!  I played around with a few different color techniques to put a more vintage feel to them.  Which one do you prefer?

My Fresh Faces 2010 Winner came in yesterday for his first session.

And like all 1 year olds was more interested in moving than sitting.

We did manage to capture a few images of him in between his juice, snacks and toys.

Looking forward to capturing more at their family session this fall.

{Charlie} Little Pals Photography | Sterling IL

Tonight I had Mr Charlie in the studio for a quick session………..

He was such a good dog and definitely the largest dog ever to step into my studio.  I should of put something in the shot so you could tell how large this cutie really is.

I am just guessing that when he was sitting his head was approx 4ft off the ground.  He made my little dogs look like little mice in comparison.  :)

Little Man “D” turns 1 Month Old!

This little cutie pie was so sweet and snuggly.  He came by just in time to get a few 1 month shots and some family pics with Mom & Dad.

I do believe he was my first little boy baby to NOT christen any of the blankets during the au natural shots. ;)

Here are few sneak peeks of him………..  almost done preparing the rest for Mom & Dad to see and share!  Gallery should be online Wednesday or Thursday.

{Mother & Son} Little Pals Photography | Sterling IL

Tonight was a trip to the park………..

We fought off mosquitos for an hour to grab a few shots of Mother & Son.

Poor guy was full of bites in just the first few minutes.  I had to photoshop out a bite on his poor forehead

This mom and son have a special place in my heart and will always be part of the “family”.  Love you guys!

Here are a few sneak peeks………… rest are uploading to the proofing gallery now.

{determination} Little Pals Photography – Sterling IL

Just after a rain shower I looked out our window to notice this little guy trying so very hard to get into the bird feeder.

I sat and watched him for several minutes then decided to run off and grab my camera.

Usually that is the time what ever I want to take a picture of decides they are done and moves on……….lol

But not this time.  This litle guy spent a very long time climbing up, sliding down, and clinging tight to get the sunflower seeds inside.

So determined in fact I was able to almost walk right up to the bird feeder.  I would take a few pics, take a few steps,

take a few more pics then a few more steps  you get the picture. ;)

Until I was maybe 5 ft from the feeder then the tail starting flicking and letting me know he didnt appreciate me interrupting his task.

In fact I do believe in the one pic he was giving me “the look”  haha

Enjoy!

{The “N” Boys} Little Pals Photography | Sterling IL Photographer

Tonight we had a short session to capture a few more images of these little boys…….

We headed to Sinnissippi Park and did some baseball images.  Hope you enjoy!
